Okay, okay, I'm not saying it was perfect. The pacing in the beginning, as I mentioned, could have been a bit snappier. And, personally, I felt like some of the subplots could have been trimmed. There's a lot happening, and sometimes it felt a little overwhelming. I mean, there was one subplot involving a stolen painting... I’m still not entirely sure why it was even there. Maybe I missed something? I'm going to need to do a rewatch to figure that out.

Final Verdict: Totally Worth the Watch!

Despite a few minor quibbles, José de la Torre is definitely worth checking out. It’s a gripping, suspenseful, and thought-provoking series that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The plot twists will blow your mind, and the characters will stay with you long after the credits roll. It's definitely one of the better Netflix Originals I've seen in a while. Plus, the acting?
